Overview
Coo-Var Floor Paint is an easy-to-use, single-pack floor paint formulated for use on a wide range of surfaces including wood, metal, concrete, or glass-reinforced plastic. It creates a resilient and hardwearing protective coating on both interior and exterior surfaces. Coo-Var Floor Paint is suitable for warehouses, garages, stairways, ledges, and more this semi-gloss finish comes in a range of colours.

Not recommended for use on asphalt, bituminous surfaces or on thermoplastic floor tiles.

Preparation
All surfaces should be clean, dry and sound ensure to thoroughly sweep the floor to remove any debris.
- Concrete surfaces including power floated, granolithic and smooth surfaces should be abraded to create a key. Either sand the surface or use to prepare the surface.
- New concrete must be allowed to cure for 3 months.
- Other surfaces have to be prepared and primed with the suitable primer for that substrate.
- Previously painted surfaces should be cleaned, degreased, and sanded to create a key.
- Remove all loose and flaking material to leave a smooth surface ready for sealing.
- For best results treat any knots or staining with an appropriate stain blocker.
Application
As dictated by normal good painting practice, in confined spaces, provide adequate ventilation during application and drying. We recommend always performing a test on the surface to be painted to ensure you are happy with the finished results.
- Mix well before application, apply using a brush or roller.
- Recoat in 16 hours, we recommend applying 2 coats.
- This floor paint will be hard dry in 12 hours and achieve full hardness in 5-7 days.
